I like you because you are uniquely you. Your opinions and anecdotes are from your own life’s experiences. No one else has the perspective you have on life. Being weird is good.
I realize that the same applies to me. All the little things that I think are “wrong” with me are the things that make me uniquely me. My humanity is nothing to be ashamed of. It is the very thing that we have in common.
I’d like to encourage everyone to share your humanity today with someone else, a loved one or even me. Give them something real, something from your heart and see what happens. Respect your strong and tender inner person and let them know they are not alone either.

This is something I’m coming to terms with, in so many areas of my life. It’s a huge thing, to give the gift of humanity to yourself – and others. Thanks for the reminder 🙂
Having been so hard on myself for so long, I finally threw my hands up and asked for self-compassion to guide me instead. Glad to be a part of your day Corinne.
I’m going to London in May to visit Clare, and together we are going to a poetry festival in Devon where we both have two public readings. I may also meet other poets from the London area including Derek Sellen, Mary Anne Smith, and Matt Chamberlain. Tim Jones is only a couple of hours away and may join us in London. I’m so excited!(Now here’s my hidden self: Whoa. Am I brave enough?)
Brave as you believe yourself to be. But when you are out immersed in the world you love with like minded people, it will feel easy and joyful!
You go Tamara !
