Four days ago, I promised a full disclosure on Christmas decorating. And then I signed off. Well, I had the decorating done, I just didn’t like the pictures. I think I’m Jonesing for new digital camera gear. I felt incomplete without divulging the hard earned reality of the holiday hullibaloo.  So, without any more adieu, here are the rest of the pictures of 2012’s Christmas decorating.

The butterflies are freeSince I can’t really stand for long periods of time, I’m looking at options for the easiest way to do Christmas dinner and desert.

I truly hope that everyone’s holidays even partially meet their expectations.  And that no one befalls anything heinous and unexpected involving insurance adjusters, hospitals, or police officers for the next week.

Amen and a  Happy and Merry Christmas.

Love,

Shalagh

  1. Shalagh, what beautiful decorations. I love all the lights and the decorations are quite elegant. It looks like you’re ready for entertaining. I love the mantel and the plant with lights (after the cat). Pictures are nice! Take care. No hard work for you. No more insurance adjusters. Merry Christmas to you and your family. Love, Amy

    1. I’ll put some wolfs bane on the front door to keep the insurance adjusters away. I thought you’d like the picture of Pee Wee in front of the tree. Merry Merry and I hope the kids act grateful.

  2. Absolutely beautiful, Shalagh! You’re an inspiration! Merry Christmas to you and your family. Hope to see you soon!

  3. Love the holiday decor! You are one gifted chick! I especially love the bushel basket lid with lights as a wreath – clever! I am so enjoying my paper wreath you made me for Christmas. As a matter of fact my son’s girlfriend saw it tonight and said how much she liked it. It makes me smile!

    1. And so this is why I need to be doing both the writing and the craftiness. Because I enjoy both so much. And it seemed so effortless this year. Glad your wreath was covet-able. Talking really soon.

      Shalagh
