My blog is about to turn ten. I started it to improve my writing. That worked out pretty well l think.
I intend to continue blogging to connect and commune with other women. No intention is truer for me. It’s my guiding mantra. I found myself when I joined community and I want to live there until I pass on.
I fought for years to upgrade and recreate this blog and it’s finally happening. I now need to embody this blog. Work from within so it represents my within. I envision Shalavee as a place for wisdom and connections to happen. An out of the way place to show up as our truer selves. To communicate with other women and feel the Me Too as a force to lighten our loads. To lay down our silent shames and to walk away lighter.
This requires your participation my dearest friends. How would you like to engage with me and other people in this way? Is it in the comments of the blog posts? Is it on Instagram or both? I like the idea of listening to others’ ideas but out of the public eye a little. Facebook groups are great but I’m not much for that platform.
I live to be in community and will continue to do what I do with this in mind. Thank you as always for showing you for me in the generous and kind ways that you do.
