Chaos has been
averted and contained
Corralled and restrained.
We left it behind.
A Full moon now,
Bright shadows smile at us as
we roll forward,
So slow, so unready.
What comes
Is gladly hidden.
Left only with our hopes
for all the news of our next day.

Thought you would Jane. Don’t do poetry as often as maybe I should.
Ah, I love your poem! “What comes Is gladly hidden” is wonderful – yes, so we can hope freely. xo
Thank you Dawn! I often say if we knew what was next our heads would explode. Better the blissful ignorance we enjoy.
That full moon really does cast a hopeful glow, doesn’t she?
As if you can see everything and it’s all good Jennifer.
Left only with out hopes…
And some pleasant memories too
We’re rather naked and vulnerable to the next happening and blissfully unaware of it aren’t we Shannon. All we have to fill us, cover us are those memories. Thank you Shannon,
