As you may know, I just finished my 100 Day Project. And if you didn’t know, now you do. My commitment to this project only came after I had completed a 60 day ICAD (index card a day) project in the Summer of 2017. And had done that after hosting my own 30 day challenge in May 2017 called Our Creative May. What I found was that after a couple weeks, anything becomes a habit, a given. And in this instance, the repeated showing up for my inner creative child has helped build confidence and self-trust in way nothing else can.

You can see my 100 Day Project

days 55 – 75 here.

Days 34 – 54 here.

Days 14 – 33 here .

And the First Two weeks of my 100 Day Project 2018 are here.

My choice was to spend this one hundred days doing a sketch with pencils and pastels in a smaller 4 x 6 format.

That the small everyday objects of my life would be the subjects spoke to me about mindfulness of our day to day.

And this is what that ended up looking like.

Here’s the last 25 drawings.

My sketching got better. I learned how to sketch and then be done.

I found that people were enjoying watching me and felt inspired.

I discovered that I had to truly look at the pieces of my life more closely to value them.

Would I do it again? Absolutely!

Do I miss it now that I’m done? Not at All.
