We have a tradition of making cards for Valentines Day, as well as Christmas. Eamon draws something and then I run off enough copies to hand out to his class mates plus additional loved ones.
I have to say that this year’s V-Day offering is brilliant. Something got stuck in his head from a book he’d read. And resulted in this beauty. The words read “evil/good dancing monkeys”.
I did steer his art direction a little in the end but it was all his doing in the beginning. Because “even evil monkeys have Valentines too”.

Hilarious! Had he seen that uncut version of the wizard of oz or something? What a pretty and original valentine.
I can not remember which book it was but no not Wizard of OZ. I’ll let you know.
