This past Saturday, I was hands free and finally painted the Wee Fi’s room.

Not all the woodwork yet, but the ceiling and the walls with the Toasted Oat as I said I would.

I finished priming the bay windows’ woodwork. But alas, no more time to paint the woodwork.

The curtain solution is still eluding me as well. Even with my Pinterest inspiration. Eamon’s room renovation meandered this way too.

The ceiling paint combined five sample quarts a nice lady named Peggy gave me. I’m calling it Vanilla.

When I’ve painted in the past, I would panic when the new paint went on and clashed with the old paint.

Not today. No time.

Now that the walls are painted, it looks so much better. Except, it looks like the Womb Room.

I like the pink but I’m gonna have to break it up with the rest of the design.  I am still winging that too. The dresser’s next.

Amazed at the amount of curtain hardware that had accumulated in the wooden window frames.

And you know Mr. Crackers had to come in and help.

Fiona in her crib. Don’t ask me about the paint fumes OK?

And a sneak preview of some vintage fabric my girlfriend bought for me in a grab bag at the Goodwill. It matches the other curtain fabric.

The fabric I still don’t know how to use in the window treatment.

Can’t wait to finish anything else in here and show you more.
